"The Umbrella star's record company, Island Def Jam Records, are said to have asked at least one website to remove the photos, calling them 'unauthorized photos purported to be, Rihanna".

"According to gossip site TMZ, the record company has called the photos, a violation of 'the artist's rights', but have not denied or confirmed if the pictures are authentic. Rihanna herself has not released a statement about the pictures".
