"London Fashion Week went back to the Stone Age as the madcap American designer, Jeremy Scott, staged a show inspired by the 1960’s TV series, ‘The Flintstones’.

"Liberty Ross wore a 20,000 BC-version of Borat’s unforgettable ‘man-kini’, in a green ‘cave’ print. Pixie Geldof was dressed in a neon-orange, one-shoulder, Neanderthal-prom dress, patterned with rough stone graphics, while Daisy Lowe came on in a black bikini which looked as if it had been torn into shape by a woolly mammoth’s teeth".
"Other models paraded in cropped tops and trousers, bustier dresses, one-piece swimsuits and peplum suits, all executed in fluorescent colours.
For the finale, Scott went for feathers, rather than cavewoman fur, sending out a line-up of ‘‘Wilma Flintstones” in high octane-coloured marabou feather ensembles.
Jeremy Scott, who is making his London Fashion Week debut, is renowned for his outrageous, camp and tongue-in-cheek approach. He has dressed scores of celebrities including Madonna, Beyonce, Victoria Beckham, Gwen Stefani, Paris Hilton, Justin Timberlake and, more recently, Lady Gaga. He is also the first designer to dress the Muppet, Miss Piggy, and dressed Britney Spears as a futuristic airline stewardess for her “Toxic” video.
Scott first launched his own label collection in Paris in 1997 and produces an iconic bag each season for the French company, Longchamp".
