"REUTERS.-.EP.07.01.2012."El viceministro de Asuntos Exteriores israelí, Danny Ayalon, ha amenazado con tomar represalias, tras la publicación en Internet de los datos personales de miles de propietarios de tarjetas bancarias, supuestamente realizada por un joven hacker saudí".

"Para el Gobierno israelí esta acción, es "una violación de la soberanía comparable a una operación terrorista, y como tal debe ser tratada". "Israel tiene opciones activas para atacar a quienes estén intentando dañarnos. Ningún organismo ni hacker, puede ser inmune a nuestra acción de represalia", ha añadido".

"El hacker, identificado como OxOmar ha publicado más de 400.000 datos de tarjetas de crédito de ciudadanos israelíes. Las empresas de tarjetas, han reconocido que se han publicado hasta este viernes los datos de 25.000 números de tarjeta, pero sostienen que muchos de los registros son de tarjetas caducadas".

"Los medios israelíes, han publicado información propia sobre OxOmar y el diario "Haaretz" asegura incluso que un bloguero, ha conseguido localizarlo en México. Se trataría de un estudiante de Emiratos Árabes Unidos, de 19 años que trabaja en el país norteamericano".

"Such cyber-attacks are "a breach of sovereignty comparable to a terrorist operation, and must be treated as such", Deputy Foreign Minister Danny Ayalon said during a speech at a community center".

"Israel has active capabilities for striking at those who are trying to harm it, and no agency or hacker will be immune from retaliatory action," he said, without elaborating".

"The hacker, identifying himself as Saudi-based OxOmar, said on Thursday he had leaked private information about more than 400,000 Israelis. Credit card company officials said around 25,000 numbers, some of them expired, had been posted as of Friday".

"After Israeli media ran what they said were interviews conducted with OxOmar over email, the Haaretz newspaper said a blogger had tracked the hacker down and determined he was a 19-year-old citizen of the United Arab Emirates studying and working in Mexico".

"An aide to Ayalon, Lital Shochat, said Israel was aware of the report but had not yet requested help from Mexican authorities".
